Made from 100% extra fine merino wool, this sweater is high quality, soft to the touch, comfortable and can be worn all year round. Sweaters are great items of clothing to have around due to how simple they are to to dress and the versatility they offer. You can wear them with trousers, wear them with denim, wear them skirts, or wear them with shorts. You can wear them with pretty much anything and everything. Please note: Due to this garment being made from 100% wool, we reccomend that you hand wash it to prevent shrinkage.

I love these merino wool sweaters and now have three. They are a bit more expensive than the bog standard 'cashmillion' from that well known chain store but well worth spending a bit more on as they last longer. I find that although warm, they are light and breathe more so you don't get that sweaty feeling you can get with synthetic ones. Also they have more stretch so they fit the figure much better and are long enough to avoid that unattractive bare midriff. Lastly they wash well with none of the pilling you get with other types of wool.
I would buy one in every colour if I could afford it. One tiny gripe, the deep teal colour described as blue looks more like forest green to me but I still kept it.
I find the v neck more flattering than the round neck personally but that's just my choice.
As a size 12/14 I find the Medium just right, a tiny bit on the loose side on the first wearing but perfect after the first wash.

I'll be honest this is a review for the Merino range as whole and not the product as such. I have 4 of these cardigans ( Grey, Purple, Red and Yellow) that I brought 3 years ago. They STILL look like new! They wash so well in the machine and still kept their shape.
A MUST MUST MUST BUY!!!

The Extra fine Merino knitwear is the BEST Uniqlo knitwear. It does not pill like the Merino Cashmere or pure Cashmere. The latter two are expensive and pill very badly. I still have my first blue extra fine v-necked cardigan from 3 years ago, which has outlasted 3 other Merino cashmere and cashmere cardigans. It is so versatile. I love it. I am buying 2 more to replace the hardly worn pilled cashmere ones.

If this is the same one that I ordered last year, then I love it, I wear it everyday and it goes with everything, dresses, jeans - straight or wide leg.
